Since Program Manager, Jenna Vargas, joined OnCore San Jose in 2007 she has worked hard to keep customers content. Jenna was originally attracted to the problem-solving aspect of the job and has since developed a strong love for the fast-pace nature of her position.
Although Jenna enjoys the constant adrenaline rush her tasks bring, some days bring more obstacles than desired. Even on these days Jenna does not shy away, she uses memories of difficult experiences as motivation.
Jenna is genuinely dedicated to her work and her customers are well aware. A satellite communications customer wrote, “When we have had problems with deliveries, she has been open and honest with me. She has worked with me to get the deliveries I need no matter how difficult.”
Another customer from a defense industry contractor expressed gratitude for Jenna’s efforts to put their needs first and said, “We’re growing with our partner, OnCore, and Jenna has played a key role in that growth.”
When not at work Jenna performs community service with daughter through their church and enjoys traveling.
Aside from the satisfaction she gets from completing her duties, another reason why Jenna enjoys working for OnCore is the support from upper management. “They believe in us here and recognize our potential,” Jenna said. Jenna feels her professional life is fulfilled, is grateful for the past four years at OnCore and looks forward to her future with the company.
